These nightstands remind me so much of the times I have spent at the Paris antique market. So many things that just need a home and are perfect just the way they are. I have used soft French grey and antique white, added to the paint is our chalk painting powder then polished with our easy to use pure beeswax polish. There are many layers of paint on top of each other, heat was used to give this very aged look.

Shabby Chic Stand
I must say there is nothing shabby about this stand. It is beautiful and the photos do not do the piece justice.
Stencil R9 was used with a special mix of plaster to create a raised design. Stencil can be purchased HERE. The rose bunch was then painted with different colours to highlight the design. Our own paint powder was mixed with store bought latex paint to give the furniture a soft French chalky finish. The stand was finished with a coat of our custom beeswax polish to add protection and a lovely soft sheen.

French Affair
The quality of work Sharon has put in to revamp the "French Affair" piece is outstanding! Sharon is one talented lady and turned the dresser from drab to fab. The photo's do not do the piece justice.
Painted with a French style paint powder added to pink paint to give an old world look. A custom plaster mix was used with the rose stencil and it certainly adds charm. The lovely sheen was achieved with a beeswax based polish.
Close up detail of the raised plaster roses.
Rose stencil used. The stencil can be purchased HERE
